Mike and Juan first met in 2017. From the start, Mike was persistent—he messaged Juan more than once before they finally started talking. But once they did, things just clicked. They started dating on October 17th of that year.

Over the years, they've supported each other through everything and have become a part of each other’s families. Juan is the silly, upbeat one with his head in the clouds, and Mike is the quieter, more grounded one. They balance each other out in the best way.

Seven years later, during a trip to Japan, Mike wasn’t totally sure when or where he’d propose. After a bit of wandering in Osaka, they ended up at the Hep Five Ferris Wheel. At the top, with a pretty amazing view, Mike decided it was the moment. Juan said yes (obviously), and now they’re getting ready to say “I do” this October.
